Description
The Mangar Bathing Cushion is a bath lift that is operated by hand control to inflate a series of cushions allowing for a gradual lower or raise of the individual in and out of the bath tub. The Bathing Cushion is ideal for those who enjoy having a bath but find it difficult to get in and out safely and perfect if you have reasonable upper body stability.
The Mangar Bathing Cushion is perfect if you have reasonable upper body stability, the inflatable Bathing Cushion gently lowers you into the bath and raises you back out when required, all at the touch of a button.
Whilst at the bottom of the bath you can choose whether to keep some air in the cushion to provide a supportive backrest, or release it all to lie right back for a completely natural bath.
You may be eligible to receive funding support. Your Occupational Therapist normally applies for this on your behalf through the NDIS or state agency.
